Sizing & Capacity

How do I know what size urn I need?

A general rule of thumb is 1 cubic inch of urn capacity per pound of body weight before cremation. Each product listing includes the interior capacity in cubic inches. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will help you choose the right size.

Do you make urns for pets?

Yes. We make urns suitable for both human and pet remains. Smaller vessels are well-suited for cats, small dogs, and other pets. Please reach out if you need help selecting the right capacity.

Materials

What wood species do you use?

We work with a curated selection of exotic and domestic hardwoods: padauk, purpleheart, canary wood, zebrawood, maple, and fir. The specific wood used is noted in each product listing. All species are selected for their grain character, durability, and long-term stability.

Is the epoxy safe and durable?

Yes. We use a high-quality, UV-resistant resin that is fully cured before finishing. It will not yellow, crack, or degrade under normal indoor conditions. It is not food-safe and is intended for decorative and memorial use only.

Customization

Can I request a custom urn?

Yes. We accept custom orders for urns with embedded objects, specific wood species requests, and other personalized details. Visit our Custom Orders page to learn more and submit an inquiry.

Can objects be embedded in the epoxy?

Yes — this is one of our signature techniques. We can embed meaningful small objects such as beads, buttons, hobby items, or other keepsakes into the epoxy. Please contact us to discuss feasibility and lead times.

Ordering & Shipping

How long does it take to receive my order?

In-stock urns typically ship within 3–5 business days. Custom orders require additional lead time, which will be confirmed at the time of order. We ship with care using protective packaging designed for fragile, high-value items.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship domestically within the United States. Please contact us if you have international shipping needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy for urns?

Please review our full Urn Return & Exchange Policy. In short: urns that have been used to hold cremated remains are final sale. Unused urns may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of delivery.
